New Era Energy has announced the acquisition of Commercial Fuel Solutions Limited (CFS), a prominent UK-based provider of refuelling infrastructure and sustainable fuel solutions. This strategic acquisition marks a significant expansion in New Era Energy’s offerings, particularly in the areas of hydrogen and low carbon AdBlue® products, further solidifying the company’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

With the integration of CFS, New Era Energy’s product portfolio will now include industry-leading expertise in hydrogen refuelling and lower carbon AdBlue® This acquisition bolsters New Era Energy's position as a key player in the UK's sustainable fuel and lubricant sector, enhancing customer service, and expanding its sustainable fuel delivery network across the country.

A Stronger Position in Sustainable Fuel Solutions

Founded in 2007, Commercial Fuel Solutions has established itself as a leading independent supplier of AdBlue® in the UK, with one out of every fifty HGVs on UK roads using its high-quality, low-carbon product. In recent years, CFS has also pioneered hydrogen-based solutions, including a hydrogen bowser for mobile refuelling and a hydrogen combustion generator for producing green electricity at remote or temporary sites. This expertise aligns seamlessly with New Era Energy’s goal of reducing emissions and advancing sustainable fuel alternatives.

With roots dating back to 1919, New Era Energy originally supplied lubricants before evolving to focus on fuel as market demands shifted. The company rebranded as New Era Energy in 2023 to underscore its dedication to sustainable energy solutions, and the acquisition of CFS underscores this ongoing commitment.
