Fleets should demand more is done to support huge potential of hydrogen vans

Peter Golding, Managing Director at FleetCheck, advocates for pressuring the new UK government, expected later this year, to develop an effective strategy for hydrogen vans.

While the current government has made progress in electrifying car fleets, Golding argues that more support is needed for hydrogen adoption in light commercial vehicle fleets. He highlights the limited focus on hydrogen in current planning, particularly for van fleets, and notes the scarcity of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure.
