Greene King Expand Customer EV Charging Points
RAW Charging has activated new electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities at over 50 Greene King locations since March 2023, and they have a plan to bring an additional 25 sites online each month moving forward, as they have officially declared.
The company has put into operation an additional 250 EV charging points at Greene King premises since March 2023, which they assert is one of the fastest deployments in the hospitality sector. In total, they have initiated more than 500 EV charging points for Greene King establishments across the UK since the rollout began.
According to RAW, guests who possess EVs are more inclined to select hospitality options with charging amenities. Businesses, in turn, can "significantly enhance the likelihood of repeat patronage" from such customers through word-of-mouth recommendations and third-party platforms.
RAW is equipping Greene King sites with multiple, user-friendly EV charging points, including chargers suitable for extended stays of over two hours, such as those found at Greene King pubs or hotels.
RAW's other prominent clients encompass Merlin Entertainments, Bespoke Hotels, and the National Trust, in addition to commercial property owners, where RAW is converting brownfield land into their own Charge Yards. This expansion includes new developments in Bishop Auckland and Croydon.
Jason Simpson, CEO of RAW Charging, stated, "EV charging has now become essential for businesses in the hospitality, leisure, and retail sectors. The speed of our deployment at Greene King locations underscores the significance of dependable charging infrastructure for one of the UK's leading pub retailers.
"At RAW Charging, we are the foremost provider of EV charging solutions and are regarded as the preferred chargepoint operator for businesses in the hospitality, leisure, and retail sectors."
