One of the key topics to be discussed at the FT Hydrogen Summit is the geopolitical implications of an emerging hydrogen economy, including its impact on trade patterns and political affiliations. Additionally, there will be debates on the significance of clean fuel for energy supply chains and discussions on which nations could potentially become leading producers in the hydrogen sector.

The summit will also delve into the role of hydrogen in decarbonising hard-to-abate sectors and examine its competitiveness with other clean technologies. Participants will consider the proportion of clean hydrogen in the global energy mix and explore ways to ensure efficient and effective deployment of hydrogen as an energy source.

Furthermore, the event will address questions related to financing options available for hydrogen projects and the government's role in mitigating risks for investors.
