Technological Advancements For Oil Tank Security

New advanced technology has been designed and successfully trialled in Texas this week involving a new coating technology that can conceal objects as large as fuel storage tanks.

The new coating technology has proven to conceal tanks from satellite photographs, including Google maps and Google Earth. It has been proven that fuel thieves have been known to use the internet to identify potential target locations. The technology is described by the creators at Castagra as "a spray rig system with new propriertary Nano-technology light diffusion coatings".

Technology has had the ability to conceal small objects, but never to the same effect on a large scale, such as a fuel storage tank. the fact that these storage tanks can be made almost invisible to satellites is a huge leap for oil security technology and it thought to be affordable for domestic use within a few years.
