UPS Signs Sponsorship Deal with F1's Ferrari

After pulling out of the merger with TNT, UPS has increased their profile by signing a sponsorship deal with Formula 1's Ferrari, being the only logistics and shipping sponsor.

The UPS logo that will be displayed on the driver’s overalls, Ferrari’s transport fleet and equipment is the only logistics logo for Ferrari and is great publicity being the official shipping sponsor. UPS have had a sponsorship for NASCAR for 12 years and were a sponsor for the London Olympics 2012, and are now sponsoring the likes of Alonso and Massa in the F138.

Christine Owens the UPS vice president, as well as the communications and brand manager said “We are excited to join Ferrari and be a part of their racing organisation. Expanding our involvement into Formula 1 with one of the world’s most recognisable racing teams brings together two worldwide brands”.
