Support for FairFuel UK

Commercial Fuel Solutions continue to help spread awareness by supporting Fair Fuel UK’s campaign to reduce national fuel costs. It is comforting to know that there is an independent organisation is fighting the constant battle against any increase in fuel prices, and this is FairFuelUK. Large organisations such as the FTA (Freight Transport Association) and the RHA (Road Haulage Association) are amongst a few companies that have pledged their support.

Since January 2011, FairFuelUK (FFUK) has been preventing governments from anymore fuel duty rises, and prices are 9ppl cheaper than they would have been if it were not for FFUK (11ppl inc. VAT). 2013 is set to be stopping the fuel rise proposed in September that was originally this January. There is also the argument, according the RHA chief executive Geoff Dunning that they will be pushing or a cut in duty. For FFUK, they are hoping to earn more backing from the road haulage industry to achieve more results for motorists.
