Negative feedback for Biofuel

Now that biofuel has been in use for well over a year many operators are now becoming sceptical as to whether or not it is the way forward.

As yet the full benefits or effects are unknown and until they are established people should not turn 100% reliant on it.

The government have been urged to be more cautious with their approach in setting targets for using biofuel, until further study into the impact has been confirmed.  This follows publicised concerns of possible increases on world food prices and carbon levels.

Volvo Trucks manager of environment and legislation, Ray Cattley, says “Governments should be working constructively with the industry to create the knowledge for which fuel, or renewable, to go with”

A good source for biodiesel feedback is the forum located at vetableoildiesel.co.uk where numerous discussions on the matter can be found.
