Economy down, fuel siphoning up!

Fuel siphoning has always happened somewhere or other but since the hikes in fuel, it has become a more common occurrence.

Lincolnshire police claim that fuel siphoning has increased by over 30% in a 3 month period, compared to that of last year.  And following a leaked Home Office report which predicts an increase in crime as the economy falls, this can only get worse.

Research shows that it will increase even more over the winter months.

Firms right across the country are falling victims of the crime, many of them have gone to extra lengths to deter the offenders and protect themselves from falling foul.

Drivers are urged to be extra vigilant and to avoid sleeping in isolated lay-bys.
