Prime Minister Guarentees to Address Fuel Duty Rises

David Cameron has said last week that the government will be addressing fuel duty increases and to scrap any further increases while he is in power.

Cameron said to the Daily Telegraph that “We have cancelled and delayed almost all of the fuel duty increases. We will keep going to try and keep those fuel duty increases off, and recognise that it is the big bills that people really care about and want help with”. David Cameron’s powerful announcement that he wants to help tackle fuel duty is a positive step in the right direction, according to Quentin Wilson (FairFuelUK’s national spokesman) and shows that FFUK’s campaigns have been heard and have made it into No.10 Downing Street.

FFUK founder Peter Carroll has said “The government has done much to control rising fuel prices and has made great progress, but there’s still much more to be done.
